About

Hi there, my name is Elias Garcia and this is my blog.

I am a sophomore in college, where I am pursuing a BS in both economics and computer science, minors in math and statistics.

Lacking Material is just an outlet for my opinion on various topics, but particularly technology, contemporary economics, and new institutional economics. However, I am scatter brained, so do not be surprised if I post stuff completely unrelated.

I am former member of Students For Liberty’s blogging team, and am alumni of the Koch Fellowship Program. I am also a former summer research fellow at the Independent Institute. This summer I will be a software engineering intern at Cerner, a really cool healthcare technology company. Any views on this blog are exclusively my own and are probably horrifically wrong.

Thanks for visiting!
